Working in a flat piece then seaming up the back and then cinching up the top, this hat is truly the easiest hat you will ever make. You’ll learn a new stitch that makes the fabric super cushy and warm and because of how the stitches are made, the seam will be invisible to the outside. Pick you favorite solid, tonal, gradient or speckled yarn – the stitch will make the most of every look! This will truly become YOUR Favorite Hat.

“Never say die” is one of the most iconic lines from the classic movie “The Goonies.” Inspired by this adventurous tale, the yarn colors for this shawl pattern capture the spirit of the film.
The name “Never Say Die” and the main color of the shawl pay homage to this memorable phrase, while the design incorporates symbolism from the movie.
The pattern features a basic Granny Ripple stitch, reminiscent of arrows on a treasure map. It is easy to memorize and allows each mini-skein color to shine. Unlike the Goonies’ challenges, this shawl is easy to create and a joy to wear.

One of my bucket list items is to see the Aurora Borealis live. So when I saw the color Aurora from Polka Dot Sheep, I knew I had to create something using that color!
This half-circle shawl looks far more complicated than it actually is. The main body of the shawl is actually done in all double crochets – it’s the color changes (that you don’t have to cut or carry) that give it interest! The shawl ends with a lacy edging just ready to finish off the last of the two colors.
Choose a variegated and a solid in any combination to make his shawl your own. And be sure to share your combination with me!

Ocean Charm is a soothing, sea-inspired, bandit-style cowl that blends texture, lace, and color in a graceful wave of stitches. It begins with the elegant Delta Lace stitch, worked flat in a variegated yarn that mimics the ever-changing ocean surface. After blocking to shape, the piece transitions to working in the round with a tonal yarn, using double crochet and subtle lace for a gentle, rolling texture. A shell stitch edging completes the design with a soft wave — the perfect detail to cap off this breezy coastal project.

There’s something timeless about pineapple lace—the way each motif builds on the last, creating a fabric that feels both delicate and substantial. Pineapple Dreams captures that elegance in a half-circle shawl that drapes beautifully and actually stays where you put it.
Worked from the top down, the shaping is built right into the design, so you’ll end up with a wrap that sits comfortably on your shoulders without constant adjusting. It’s the kind of piece that elevates a simple dress for dinner out or adds a layer of polish to your everyday favorites.
If you’ve been curious about pineapple lace but weren’t sure where to start, this is your pattern. Clear instructions, satisfying rhythm, beautiful results.

A long, fitted skirt in lace weight yarn sounds ambitious—until you realize this one is worked in a single piece from the top down, with shaping built right into the design. Pineapple Elegance gently increases through the hips before tapering into a sleek, figure-skimming silhouette. The pineapple lace border at the hem is the finishing touch—a nod to vintage technique that elevates the whole piece.
Once the body is complete, the covered elastic waistband is crocheted directly onto the top—no separate pieces, no seaming. This is the kind of project that looks far more complicated than it actually is.
Pair it with a denim jacket and boots, or dress it up with heels for an evening out. Either way, you made that.

The pineapple lace edging is worked right along with the body, which means no separate border to add later. Lace weight yarn gives Pineapple Express beautiful drape without weight, making it a shawl you’ll actually reach for. Wrap it around your shoulders for a dinner out, drape it loosely over a cardigan, or let it double as an elegant scarf. The kind of piece that works as hard as you do.

Pink Icing is the perfect topping to any outfit. Working from side to side, this shawl can be adjusted in length quickly and easily just by adding or removing repeats on either side of the center. And what I think is truly the “icing” on the shawl is that you are working both the main body and edging at the same time. This means that you only have just a few ends to weave in when you are done. SCORE!
I chose a yarn with Cashmere to add warmth for fall and even winter months, you could easily use a fingering weight with some cotton, linen or even silk for the perfect summer shawl too. Your options are endless when you get to choose the color of your icing!
