September 2026 – Dragon Scales Bracelet

Dragon scale beading creates a textured, layered look that’s surprisingly elegant. The overlapping pattern catches light beautifully, and the result is a bracelet that feels substantial and polished.

In this class, you’ll learn my tubular crochet beading method adapted specifically for the dragon scale pattern. We’ll cover how to start your rope with a clean, tight beginning, how to position the beads so your stitches stay hidden, and how to build the overlapping scale structure as you work. By the end of class, you’ll complete or nearly complete your bracelet.

This technique looks intricate, but the process is meditative and satisfying. You’ll want to make more.
