Cobblestone Cowl is a fast and fun project. Using two colors – one a tonal and one a variegated, and working 2 rows at a time with each color, you will find yourself wanting to keep adding “just one more row”.
Using the tonal as the main color gives a classic look. But if you use the variegated as the main color, you will have a different look and feel, that is a bit more fun and colorful!

The socks in Crochet Rocks Socks feature some of my favorite Rock ‘n Roll songs/bands of all time. Each one will include a little story about that song, and why I love it. Each of the designs was created using color and stitches that remind me of the song in some way. I chose yarns from two local Northwest indie yarn dyers and they hand-dyed them to work with each of the songs.
I hope that you enjoy the socks and stories in this book as much as I enjoyed living and creating them!

Originally designed as the featured crochet pattern for the Forbidden Fiber Co.’s Halloween Kit 2022, Eastwick is an amazing chevron shawl that is perfect for those mini skeins you have in your stash. After a few setup rows, you will just keep going with a simple 2-row repeat until the very end. This makes it a great stash-busting project, or even a great way to use up those leftover balls of yarn from other projects. You can keep using the repeat until it is the width and length you desire!

Electric Shift Crochet Shawl brings bright color and strong movement together in a bold crochet shawl.
Worked in three distinct sections, each part introduces its own stitch pattern, texture, and rhythm. As the fabric grows, the design shifts direction and energy, creating a piece that feels modern, graphic, and full of life.
This is a pattern for crocheters who enjoy watching color take the lead. The sections build on each other with clear changes in stitch movement, giving you variety as you work and a finished shawl that has plenty of visual impact.
Choose colors with contrast, let them play across the fabric, and make sure each section has room to stand out. Electric Shift is bright, edgy, and made to keep your hook moving.

Soft and flirty, the End of Summer shawl is a fast-growing triangular wrap. Each section builds on the previous one to challenge the beginning crocheter with new stitch patterns but yet keep the advanced crocheter engaged. Use lace-weight yarn for the summer-to-fall transition but the pattern lends itself to using fingering weight as well for a bit warmer wrap.

English Boom is a beautiful state park on Camano Island, WA, along the Skagit Bay. During the 1920s and 1930s, the English Lumber Co. logged the forests to the east of Stanwood and Mount Vernon. The company stored tree logs here, a facility called a “boom.” Portions of the storage facility still stick up out of the water. Now it’s a park where nature is slowly reclaiming the land from the damage done. For more information on park, visit: https://www.islandcountywa.gov/PublicWorks/Parks/Pages/english-boom.aspx.
“English Boom” is inspired by this beautiful 6-acre park. Designed in reclaimed fibers, the straight rows remind us of the logs that remain of the original structures. Use it as a shawl, scarf or a cowl. The possibilities are endless!

Fathomless is a study of pairing two unlikely colors together to create a harmonious combination of colors. Inspired by the movie The Abyss, the main field of the shawl is worked in a simple double crochet plain field. The variegated color reminds me of the colors you see dancing on top of the water when visiting the coast. The lacy edging worked once the main shawl is completed, gives the illusion of going down into the depths of the ocean where everything is chilly and dark, but knowing there is beauty all around you, only if you know where to look. This shawl will sparkle in any color combination, but I challenge you to stretch your mind to create an unconceivable pairing of colors to make this shawl glow!
