Cherry Cola Cardigan
$8.00
The name of this pattern comes from the colors I used, and the fact it is sock yarn. I think about the 1950s and “sock hops” and cherry colas! The pattern is a classic cardigan with modern features that will keep it in fashion – unlike the old soda shops!
One thing I have never understood about children’s patterns is why so many are made with worsted-weight yarn. Using a fingering weight, the fabric has drape and doesn’t make the child look like the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.
