CGOA VIRTUAL CLASS: Radical Reversals: Shells

Reversible fabric means your project looks finished and intentional from both sides. This two-color shell technique creates beautiful texture that works equally well on the right side or wrong side, perfect for scarves, cowls, and blankets.
In this class, you’ll learn how to create reversible shell fabric using only your standard crochet hook. We’ll work through the stitch structure, color changes, and how to maintain clean edges as you go. The technique is surprisingly straightforward once you understand how the shells stack and interlock.
You’ll leave with a versatile stitch pattern that adds depth and interest to anything you make.

- This class best suits crocheters who know how to chain, single, and double crochet, and understand how to work in rows.

- 2 complimentary colors of DK weight yarn (to make the full scarf in the handout, you will need 275yds of each color)
- US size G/6 (4mm) through I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Pen or pencil to take notes
