This pattern is written in US terminology.
Recommended Yarn
Simple Magic was designed in Forbidden Fiber Co.’s Harry Potter set for 2021. However, you may use any fingering weight yarn that will get the gauge.
Simple Magic is very versatile and lends itself to semi-solids/solids, variegated, and gradients too. Don’t be afraid to try out a color scheme you prefer!
Techniques and Difficulty
Simple Magic incorporates the following crochet techniques:
- Basic stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet)
- Intermediate stitches (foundation stitches.)
Construction
Simple Magic is a rectangular side-to-side scarf or shawl. You will have ends to weave in with color changes.
Customization
You can adjust the length and width of Simple Magic by removing or adding 2-row repeats.
If you would rather use a different weight of yarn, I recommend weights from lace to DK.
