It’s All About the Donuts is the shawl that makes your wardrobe fun!
Designed with 12 donut-sprinkle-inspired fingering weight mini skeins and a warm, baked, dough-inspired full-sized skein of fingering weight yarn to tie them all together—you will love this shawl.
The minis are used in groups of threes with front post stitches and alternating colors. This gives you the illusion of “sprinkles” just like on your favorite donut flavor. The honey brown brings a little subtlety to tone down the bright colors when needed. A beautiful and simple lace edging ties it all together.
Missed the original kit this pattern was designed for? Grab a set of 12 mini skeins and a coordinating full-sized hank, or make your own color combination. The sky is the limit!

Recommended Yarn
It’s All About the Donuts was designed in Chaos Fiber Co.’s Donut Mini set for 2021. However, you may use any fingering weight yarn that will get the gauge.
It’s All About The Donuts is very versatile and lends itself to semi-solids/solids, variegated, and gradients too. Don’t be afraid to try out a color scheme you prefer!

It’s All About The Donuts is a top town Triangle shawl. You will have ends to weave in with color changes.
Customization
You can adjust the length and width of It’s All About the Donuts by removing or adding 2-row repeats in the main body of the shawl. However, you may have to do some math to get the edging to come out correctly
If you would rather use a different weight of yarn, I recommend weights from lace to DK.
