Elementary is a side-to-side shawl. First, you work the main field and then add the edging later, all without cutting the yarn.
You can adjust the width of Elementary by adding/subtracting increase rows then adding/subtracting the same number of decrease rows. However, you will have to do some math to get the edging to work out correctly.
