Halloween, or All Hallows Eve as I prefer to call it, is actually a favorite day of mine. I have always gravitated to the fun side of Halloween rather than the scary. And in that vein is how I designed the All Hallows Eve shawl.
Designed with 13 mini skeins of yarn exclusively for the Forbidden Fiber Co.’s Halloween Mystery Kit 2021, this works up with easy stitches first and gradually makes its way to a simple yet engaging lace, and is finished off with a shell edging. It works up fast, and before you know it, it’s ready for a night of trick or treating.

This pattern is written in US terminology.
All Hallows Eve was designed in Forbidden Fiber Co. Fortitude Halloween minis for 2021. However, you may use any fingering weight yarn that will get gauge.
All Hallows Eve is very versatile and lends itself to semi-solids/solids, variegated, and gradients too. Don’t be afraid to try out a color scheme you prefer!
Techniques and Difficulty
All Hallows Eve incorporates the following crochet techniques:
- Basic stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet)
- Intermediate stitches (V-stitch, Shell)
All Hallows Eve is a top town Triangle shawl. You will have ends to weave in with color changes.
You can adjust the length and width of All Hallows Eve by removing or adding 4 row repeats between rows 34-72
If you would rather use a different weight of yarn, I recommend weights from lace to DK.
