C2C Wrap Up
I did spend more time with videos and finally did get the hang of the color changes, however, I did not complete the block. There are a lot of reasons for that, but mostly because I realized that this is a technique that I would never use. I really don’t like working on this type of colorwork, and I was not going to spend more time on it.
What I learned:
- While I love the corner-to-corner stitch with a single yarn, or creating my own stripes, I absolutely hate working with bobbins or multiple yarns hanging on my work.
- Although the blankets and other projects made with this technique are cute, and in some cases, beautiful to look at, I will never do this technique. And that is OK. We all have our likes and dislikes in the world of crochet.
- I will leave this technique out there for others who love it far better than I to teach and design with it.
So that is a wrap on C2C. I am going to take a breather for a week or two on this education thing, and I’ll be covering a couple of techniques I love that I haven’t seen used in a long time.
Are you a fan of C2C? Tell me about your projects using this technique!
